History of Brinklow Village

Brinklow, Warwickshire, is a village with a huge amount of History. The newly formed Brinklow History Group are putting on a free Exhibition about the village using much of the materials collated by local Historian Diane Lindsay. The exhibition will cover the possible basis for the name BRINKLOW. The Norman Motte & Bailey (locally known as The Tump) will be described. There will be photographs and drawings about the Victorian School with access to its log book. The businesses and local hostelries of the village will be described and the old canal route will be shown. The Norman church (St Johns the Baptist) and the United Reform Church will be shown along with much more. You can explore the materials at your leisure and admire the Anglos-Saxon Warrior Sculpture created by a local artist. Tea/coffee and cakes will be on sale.
