Explore the new history trail being launched at Archcliffe Fort, home of the Emmaus Charity - located here since 1996 the fort has it's origins back to Henry VIII in 1539 with modifications through to the Second World War.

Emmaus Dover is a charity that empowers people to overcome homelessness. We provide the foundation of a home and a life-changing package of tailored support.

Emmaus Dover is a vital part of the local area. Our Archcliffe Fort shop offers affordable furniture, household items, clothing, books, toys, and more. By giving new life to pre-loved items, we reduce waste and promote reuse, helping the environment while supporting people on their journey out of homelessness. Within our grounds, we also run a café, community garden, garden centre, and upcycling workshop.
