History of spinning and hemp production in Halesworth

Spinning has always been an essential part of rural and retail life and this event includes watching a spinner at work and discussing the origins and history of this traditional skill. The production of hemp is also a local enterprise down the centuries and at this event displays and discussions will highlight the manufacture and uses of hemp up to the modern day. This is a pop-in event.
