We are working with the local butcher, baker, clockmaker, bookseller. We will be following a family and their businesses and properties through the Quay and local figures from the past including Francis Johnson and William Kent.
We will also showcase local groups and organisations who promote and preserve our magnificent and diverse local heritage. These will include an ongoing archaeological project and the work of a young potter and the towns twinning team. There will be short guided walks around Church Green.
Local artist and sculptor Steve Carvill will be on hand to talk about his work in the Priory, the Priory is also open to let you explore and discover its amazing history, the making of The Gansey Girl sculpture on Bridlington Harbour and The Barrow Boy in the railway station forecourt.
