Step back in time on a short family-friendly walk exploring Bishopstoke’s fascinating past. Discover what life was like for children in the village years ago, hear about Bishopstoke’s links to the Titanic, find out which Royals visited the area, and learn about the grand houses that once stood locally. The walk will also share the story of how fish from the River Itchen travelled as far as Australia and New Zealand.
Designed especially for children, this gentle walk will last around 30 minutes starting at Bishopstoke Community Centre and finishing at Glebe Meadow. All children must be accompanied by an adult and remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout the event.
