Come and see inside our Church, formally opened in 1912. Most of our stained-glass windows were commissioned from John Hardman and Co. of Birmingham beginning in 1912. There are three more modern windows designed by Patrick Reyntiens in the mid-70s.

This is a chance for everyone to come along to see inside a much-loved local Catholic Church. We are open on Sunday 21st September from 1pm-5pm. The building is accessible for wheelchair users.
Holy Family Catholic Church Brompton Road Southport was formally opened on Sunday April 14th 1912 (the Titanic sank on April 15th 1912) following the laying of a foundation stone on Tuesday July 11th 1911. The architect was Mr Alfred Gilbertson of Liverpool and the contractors were Messrs Duxfield Bros of Southport. It was designed in the early Gothic style and still retains many of its original features. Many of the stained-glass windows feature Biblical scenes and were designed and made by John Hardman and Co. of Birmingham. Throughout the world, many cathedrals, churches and civic buildings, including the Houses of Parliament, contain the very distinctive windows designed and made by Hardmans. In addition, there are three newer windows designed by Patrick Reyntiens which are much more modern in style and palette.
