  • Multiple dates available
  • In person

Discover our Grade 1 listed 12th Century church famous for the Penn Doom, a rare 15th-century painting on oak panels. The church brasses will be on view as well ancient Penn tiles, heraldic roof shields and original consecrations crosses.

Memorials from the Howe and Curzon families are in the chancel and hatchments from the families hang in the nave. The Tower dates from the 14th Century and now contains 6 bells which we hope to have ringing. Box pews are from the 19th Century and the one handed clock was installed in 1715. Our resident village historian will be on hand to answer questions and, weather permitting, you are welcome to search for some famous names in the graveyard. Tea, coffee and cake will be on offer.
