Step into the world of a former Prime Minister at Hughenden, a historic manor house set in formal gardens, rolling parkland, and ancient woodlands. Once a modest Georgian home, it was transformed into a grand Victorian estate by Benjamin Disraeli, Queen Victoria’s favourite. Explore the West Wing of the Manor to discover more about Hughenden's role as a top-secret map-making operation during the Second World War.
Visit the National Trust shop, offering locally sourced goods and unique gifts, and relax in the cosy Stableyard Café, serving light refreshments, hot meals, and beverages.
Discover our art exhibition in Hughenden's studybase, led by Buckinghamshire's Artists and Makers. Enjoy the work of local artists offering a diverse range of works including painting, photography, printing, textiles, ceramics, glasswork, jewellery, and sculpture.
