  • 19 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking preferred

Enjoy free entry and a selection of special activities both indoors and outdoors at Ickworth Estate 12th - 21st September. From unique pop up talks and tours, to behind the scenes videos, there is plenty to experience.

Led by one of the project team, this cycling tour takes you through the woodlands at Ickworth to the Monument.

At 95 feet (29 meters) tall, this limestone gift to the Earl Bishop is the highest point on the estate and the second highest in Suffolk. Lord Bristol's Monument has a heart felt inscription at the base in memory of the Earl Bishop, and was erected in 1817.

The project that inspired this event aims to research, protect, and restore areas of the monument that may become safe over time.
