Our walk will show you some of the places connected with the young Chateaubriand, a refugee
from the French revolution who lived in Beccles during some of his
formative years. He went on to become a great writer, pivotal in establishing romanticism
in France, as well as a great diplomat and foreign minister. We will also tell you about other places nearby that you may want to visit
independently.
