A guided heritage tour revealing the hidden history and heritage of Ince. Come and stroll along Ince Green Lane with local historian Jim Meehan and learn about the rich history of the area.

The tour starts on Smithy Green then travels along Ince Green Lane taking in existing historic locations and those that have been lost. Hear about the rich history of the area, the rise and decline of industry, the history of two manor houses, the lost railways, and much more. The tour ends at the historic Waterhouse Chapels in Ince Cemetery. It is just over a mile in length and will last for 1 hour 30 minutes. It is not a circular walk. Booking is essential.
