Join one of our guided tours and discover the fascinating industrial heritage hidden just off the High Peak Trail near Minninglow. Led by knowledgeable Peak District National Park heritage volunteers, you'll learn about the history and significance of a historic limekiln and brick kiln, as well as the challenges involved in conserving these important structures for future generations.

The limekiln was restored in 2023 thanks to funding from Defra's Farming in Protected Landscapes programme.

This event is part of the People of the Peak project, made possible with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players. The project is delivered by the Peak District National Park Authority and the Peak District National Park Foundation, helping to conserve, celebrate and share the Peak District's rich cultural heritage.
