Come see the opening weekend of our Coastal Open exhibition - an open entry community exhibition featuring the talents of over 30 local artists in lots of different mediums, learn about the history of the Martello Tower C, and see the amazing views from the roof!

Accessibility details
Jaywick Martello Tower can be accessed on foot or by car, with parking directly outside. The path to the entrance is made of wooden sleepers and can be uneven or slippery in bad weather. The main entrance has a low doorway (approx. 1.55m) requiring visitors to duck. An alternative rear entrance is taller but reached via 15 steps with a handrail. Inside, the event space is accessed by 14 steps or a platform lift. The roof is reached by 28 uneven steps with a rope handrail. An accessible WC is available but can be tricky.
