Join National Trust Senior National Curator Emma Slocombe and Rebecca Feakes, Property Librarian at Blickling, for an illuminating talk exploring the ideas and history behind the new exhibition.

The new exhibition is titled Journeys: Global Textiles from the Karun Thakar Collection at Blickling Hall.

Journeys brings together a vibrant selection of global textiles from the internationally renowned collection of Karun Thakar with Blickling Hall’s remarkable library and interiors, revealing the country house as a meeting point of cultures, where the threads and texts of history interweave.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A where Emma and Rebecca are joined by Heather Jermy, General Manager and Megan Dennis, Property Experiences Curator — an opportunity to delve deeper into the collection and the research behind the exhibition.
