Bring friends and family for a very special birthday party to celebrate 400 years of Lancaster's oldest Town House. You can meet the servants to find out more about life below stairs and enjoy some traditional games in the garden. View normally hidden area of the House and find out more about the ordinary people that lived here. There's live music to bring the House to life and you can let the kids get stuck in with some creative craft. Why not treat yourself to delicious homemade cake in the Friends pop up Victorian Tea Room. All ages welcome.
Plus it's part of Heritage Open Days so it's free entry Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September.

The museum is housed in a 17th century house with no lift and unfortunately access is limited. Those with limited mobility are welcome to access the ground floor of the museum up a single step through the side entrance which is up a short steep hill. There is no parking onsite but you can get access to the site down Castle Hill. Some large print information is available on request.
