Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Centre in the former Assembly Rooms (Central Leeds)

Everybody is welcome to this special building in the heart of Leeds. All ages and walks of life are welcome to explore, sample the free meditation sessions, check out the beautiful meditation room (former grand ballroom) and visit the café and bookshop.
There will be drop-in meditation sessions including children's activities, and tours of the historic building.
You can learn about the recent renovations which have saved the building and given a new lease of life, restoring it to its former glory and ensuring it is open and accessible for everyone.
The centre will be open throughout Heritage Open Days (excluding Mondays), 1000-1700.
On 19th September, additional free events will be held, including meditation sessions for children and adults, and historic building tours:
- 1100 - 1130: building history tour
- 1145 - 1200: guided meditation
- 1400- 1430: shrine tour and guided meditation
