Kenilworth Abbey Museum and Heritage Centre

Kenilworth Abbey Museum & Heritage Centre is housed in a 14th century red sandstone building, once part of the medieval Abbey. The ground floor exhibition tells the story of the Abbey and its buildings. 2026 marks the 760th anniversary of the great siege of Kenilworth Castle. One of the original stone Trebuchet balls, which was fired into the castle during the siege and discovered during an excavation many years later, is now on display.
On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September only, members of the Kenilworth History & Archaeology Society will be leading a guided walk of the Abbey ruins bringing to life the people who lived and worked there and why there is so little left of the once magnificent Augustinian Abbey.
