Visit National Trust Knightshayes for Heritage Open Days on 13 and 14 September. Enjoy free entry to the whole site, and discover the influences of architect William Burges for the design of the Victorian Gothic house. From nature to history, there are a wealth of influences throughout the house, and also discover what architectural features you can see in the gardens and parkland.

Accessibility details

The Formal & Woodland garden is partly accessible, with hard surfaced step-free path around much of it. Please be aware of slopes, gravel paths and steps down to the terraces. Stables has historic cobble surfaces. There are several sets of steps in the gardens. There is a step free route marked on the property map. There is ramped access to the second-hand bookshop at the stables and into the house. The walled garden is on a slope to capture sun light and the woodland garden is also sloped.
