In 1917, Lieutenant de Lisle described himself as “energetic & cheery instead of slack & irritable” after his time spent at the Physical Treatment Centre in Bath. In 1916, Captain Millar considered staff there to have “literally performed a miracle upon me”. Find out about the different treatments that were offered at this historic spa complex, how they impacted the lives of the patients, and gain an insight into the staff who worked there.
