Lets Not Forget - A walk In the Past community consultation
234 Dallow Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 1TB
Join us on Wednesday, 18 September 2025 (3:30–7:00 PM) at Dallow Community Centre for a community consultation event to help shape the final designs of seven heritage trail locations across the Dallow ward.
Led by Mary Seacole Housing Association, in partnership with Revoluton Arts and Three Counties Media, this phase of Let’s Not Forget – A Walk in the Past uses art, augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI) to creatively bring local history to life.
The event features seven interactive stands, each showcasing early concept designs representing key heritage sites including Brantwood Park, Rothersay Cemetery, Ashburnham Road, Dallow Primary School, and the Sikh Temple. Visitors can experience AR storyboards, AI-enhanced historic imagery, digital displays, and artist illustrations. Community feedback is encouraged at each station.
A children’s passport game will engage younger attendees collecting letters and facts at each stand to win a prize while learning about local heritage and coproducing the site.
Local artists will be onsite to share designs, answer questions, and collect feedback directly from the community. The event also includes light refreshments, opportunities for local organisations to display roller banners, and potential media coverage.
This is a unique opportunity to co-create a digital heritage trail that celebrates Dallow’s history through community voices, creativity, and technology.
Everyone is welcome, come and be part of the story.
