Join the Library and Archive team of Hereford Cathedral as they mark this Heritage Open Days with a special opening of the Reading Room.

This is an opportunity to visit the cathedral's modern lending and reference library, the Reading Room. The event marks the 30th anniversary of the opening of the new library building.

Meet the librarian and archivist who work to protect and promote the cathedral's centuries of history. The team will share stories of the library past and present, through displays of select archive materials, books and photographs. Linking to the 'In Print' exhibition in the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Museum, the open day will give a window into the magic of printing and showcase the Library's Adana printing press.
