Climb the 69 steps of the 83-foot Lindley Clocktower

Climb the 69 steps of the 83-foot Lindley Clocktower and take in the view from the windows on all four sides, as well as seeing the clock mechanism. If you’re lucky the quarterly chimes will toll as you visit.
Designed in the Art Nouveau style by architect Edgar Wood [see next entry], Lindley Clock Tower was erected in 1902 by his uncle James Nield Sykes, a local mill owner.
