Little Explorers at St John on the Wall
The Churches Conservation Trust, Church Of St. John The Baptist, Broad Street, Bristol, Bristol, BS1 2EZ
Visit the beautiful and unique medieval church of St John on the Wall in Bristol, a church rising from the city's medieval walls. Part of the very fabric of Bristol - St John's was built into the city walls in the fourteenth century as a place for travellers to offer prayers before a journey. In the twelfth century there were five such churches, acting both as part of the city's defences and as places for travellers to offer prayers before a journey. St John's is the only one that remains.
Volunteer Stewards will be on hand to offer information and answer questions, with games and trails for children and displays for adults.
