What can a well-thumbed bible, a child's schoolbook or a scribbled note tucked inside a visitors' book tell us about life at Powderham?

This Heritage Open Days talk explores the everyday stories hidden within the Castle's historic library and archive, revealing how books were used, shared and treasured by generations of family members, servants, estate workers and visitors. There will be an opportunity to view Powderham's historic library following the talk.

With Emma Dunn, Director of the Devon and Exeter Institution.
