Join ITV News Presenter and Reporter Faye Barker for a behind the scenes insight into her working lives history in broadcast journalism over the decades. With 30 years' experience in TV news, Faye will bring exclusive insights into how newsrooms operate, and how journalists are adapting to a world where people get their news from various parts of the digital landscape, not just traditional TV, radio and newspapers.
As well as reflecting on her own career - from a news assistant on a cable TV channel to mainstream presenter and reporter - she will share the historic foundations of TV news, and how it all started, more than 70 years ago. Audience members will also get to hear some behind the scenes stories and be able to ask questions for a truly interactive experience.
