A stroll and maybe the occasional pause to look at existing pubs and buildings that long ago ceased to welcome thirsty travellers.

Beverley has long been a town of pubs, fortunately we still have many wonderful ones left. This gentle one hour stroll visits over a dozen sites of former pubs which have pulled their last pints. There are surprises in store, even for those who know the town well. We begin & end at the Market Cross and there is nothing stopping you at the end of the walk from enjoying a drink with local historian Ian Richardson, at one of the pubs still operating!
