Whitlingham Country Park arose from sixteen marshes. Through a two-mile long guided walk, come and find out how our two broads were created and what happened a century ago when Whitlingham hosted a Royal Agricultural Show.

Gather and meet our volunteer walk leaders for a warm welcome at the Flint Barn Café (on the car park side). This walk will explore areas around the Great Broad at Whitlingham Country Park, which has an accessible path surface, suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Please note: There are a few sections of this route which involve steps or rougher terrain but these can be bypassed. The walk is around a two mile route and is likely to take around 90 minutes. You will be shown some images and maps along the way to bring the information to life as you explore. If it is wet weather, please bring an umbrella.
