This year marks 200 years of having a lifeboat in Lyme Regis, celebrating two centuries of courage, dedication, and lifesaving service to the local community and those at sea.

Directions:
Lyme Regis Lifeboat Station is located at the bottom of Cobb Road, at the entrance to the town’s famous and historic Cobb Harbour. The station is within easy walking distance of the seafront and other local attractions. There are several public car parks available throughout Lyme Regis, with parking options located close to the harbour and town centre. Visitors are advised to allow extra time during busy periods, particularly in the summer season. Please note that accessibility is limited in some areas of the lifeboat station. While much of the station can be enjoyed by visitors, access to certain sections is via steps, which may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Station volunteers will be happy to advise on accessible viewing areas wherever possible.

Please note that there are no toilet facilities available at the lifeboat station. However, public toilets are located nearby within easy walking distance of the station and Cobb Harbour. Visitors should also be aware that access is limited in some areas of the station, as there are a number of steps throughout the site. This may restrict access for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. If you require assistance during your visit, station volunteers will be happy to help where possible.
