Magdalen has had a library in this room since the 1480s, and the beautiful Gothic interior now holds over 20,000 volumes dating from 1500-1800. On display are some of the treasures of the collection, including an illuminated book of hours, one of the first books printed in Venice, and a seventeenth-century song book.
