Directions:
Entry to Oldham Archives is via the Ascroft Street doors into The Loom. The Archives is on the ground floor, to the left inside the foyer. We're a 2-minute walk from Oldham Central Metrolink tram stop via Clegg Street - look for the building with the copper cladding on the left as you reach Parliament Square with its stone owls sitting at the top of the columns. We're a 10-minute walk from Oldham Bus Station via High Street - follow the signs for The Market and The Loom but keep walking down Parliament Square then turn right into Ascroft Street. If you park in the Spindles car park, exit the shopping centre at Peter Street and walk along Ascroft Street towards Parliament Square.

Accessibility details

Oldham Archives is fully wheelchair accessible, however the route to the store is via a corridor with two turns and through three sets of doors. Visitors who are wheelchair users will be assisted by staff to make access to the store as easy as possible.
