Join members of the Trees Committee of Friends of Lewes for a guided walk around an interesting collection of almost one hundred native and exotic trees, including unusual examples such as a venerable Black Poplar and a Hybrid Wingnut. The trees, largely planted in the 1970s, are in a private garden that used to be part of the grounds of Malling Deanery. They make a valuable contribution to our arboretum town and thanks are due to the owners for permission to visit their grounds.
An experienced and knowledgeable arboriculturalist, on the Lewes Urban Arboretum team will lead this popular tour of the facinating arboretum.
