One of the Great Barns of England; built by the monks of St Andrews monastery in Rochester around 1403, it is one of the longest medieval wooden structures in the country, and an inspiring example of the craftsmanship of the age.

The Barn will be open for visiting from 10.00am - 4.00pm on Saturday 12th September and Saturday 19th September

Accessibility details

The ground around the barn, and floor within, is not entirely even. Parking limited on site, but nearby street parking available. Light refreshments only (Tea/ Coffee etc)

Additional information

The barn has not yet been fully renovated, although four bays damaged by fire many years ago have benefitted from an award winning restoration.
