Bolsover Castle is hosting an exclusive event to celebrate Heritage Open Days. Join us for a tour of Bolsover Castle with a focus on the life and works of an extraordinary woman - Margaret Cavendish. Margaret was a 17th century philosopher, poet, playwright and author. In fact, she is credited as being one of the very first science fiction writers with "The Blazing World". One of our dedicated volunteers will introduce you to the Castle and its grounds while exploring the influence of this remarkable woman.
