Mills Transformed!

Following his successful exhibition at Bradford Industrial Museum, Huddersfield Civic Society and Huddersfield Local History Society have invited Neil Horsley to give a presentation based on the exhibition with additional local examples of successful conversion projects. This will be introduced by John Lambe, Historic Places Advisor for Historic England who has a focus on mills. Neil has so far visited 35 mills to interview and photograph the people who have brought new life to these great buildings. Based on these mill case studies, and interviews with developers, planners and architects, Neil will outline how further northern mills can be renovated and repurposed.
