Join us for a tour of MK Gallery's buildings with our brilliant volunteer tour guides including Rebuild and Expansion Consultant Project Manager Steve for a unique look at The Gallery's architecture. During this tour of the MK Gallery building, we will discuss the evolution of the gallery with its 2019 rebuild;
how it celebrates early MK heritage and fits into the physical and cultural fabric of CMK. We will trample an urban myth or two along the way and take in the stunning view from the Sky Room cinema across Campbell Park opposite.

MK Gallery re-opened in March 2019 following a major renovation and expansion. Inspired by the utopian history of Milton Keynes, the building was designed by 6a architects, with artists Gareth Jones and Nils Norman. In 2021, the building won the RIBA South Project Architect of the Year award. MK
Gallery has been described as ‘an architectural gem’ in The Telegraph, ‘a dream made real’ in The Financial Times, and ‘utterly, thrillingly Milton Keynesian’ in The Guardian. Inspired by the unique history of this utopian New Town. https://mkgallery.org/about.
