See selected panels of the Mount Felix Tapestry on display in the Community Cafe. Stitched by 600 volunteers, they tell the WWI story of 27,000 wounded New Zealand soldiers cared for in Walton.

The Mount Felix Tapestry is a vibrant, community-crafted masterpiece that tells a deeply moving story from the First World War. Hand-stitched by over 600 volunteers using pure New Zealand wool, this 44-panel work of art commemorates the unique connection forged between Walton-on-Thames and the ANZAC troops.
