A grade II listed building, one of Manchester's first bus garages, now used as a transport museum.

A collection of over 80 vehicles, mainly buses, but including a fire engine, prototype Metrolink tram, lorries and ancillary vehicles, along with a substantial collection of smaller items such as signage, uniforms, ticket machines (with hands-on displays), badges and similar objects, supported by displays of photographs and documents. There is a shop selling a range of transport related memorabilia, and a small Tea Room for light refreshments. There should be an opportunity to ride on some of the vehicles during the weekend. Children under 16 must be accompanied.

Limited on street parking; use public transport where possible - buses 41, Middleton - Sale, and 135 Manchester - Bury pass nearby. Metrolink Queens Road station is 10 minute walk away. Due to the historic nature of our buses, wheelchairs can not be carried, but every effort will be made to assist wheelchair users to enjoy a ride.
