Theoc Baroque was formed to explore the rich repertoire of music for voices and continuo from the 16 th and 17 th centuries. Our line-up of sopranos (Kate Oakley and Jill Davies), bass (Kenneth Roles), organ (Michael Oakley) and theorbo (Philip Turner), has given us the opportunity to explore some wonderful sacred music from Italy, France and Germany. For our return visit to Gloucester HODs we are delighted to present some of the beautiful devotional music we have discovered, by Buxtehude, Allegri, Grandi, Rigatti, Cima, Monteverdi and Charpentier.
