On Monday 15 September only, admission to Knole will be free for all. This includes to the showrooms, Gatehouse Tower and car park.

Showrooms and Gatehouse Tower are open 1100-1600, last entry 1530. The Brewhouse Café is the perfect place to soak up Knole’s historic atmosphere over a drink and a bite to eat. Tucked away in Green Court are two shops just waiting to be discovered. The café, courtyards and shop are open 1000-1700.

We will also be offering a free guided walk - 'The Changing Faces of Knole: An archaeology walk' - where you can discover the fascinating history of the parkland at Knole. It also includes a look inside the historic icehouse from the newly installed viewing platform. The tour will run 1130-1215 and will start in Stone Court. Please meet in Stone Court by 1120 if you like to join the tour. There are 12 spaces allocated on a first come first served basis on the day.
