A woodland walk with stories of local farms through history.

Join us for a woodland walk with stories and history of our local farms (including Dam Head and Knottley Hill), celebrating the farming heritage of Blackley. This walk is suitable for all ages, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Grange Park Road entrance to the woods.

Please note: not all paths in the woods are fully accessible and can be slippy/muddy in some weathers. As far as possible, the walking route will be chosen to suit the walkers in attendance on the day. If you would like more information, please get in touch with the Friends of Bailey's Wood.

Dogs welcome, but please keep them on a lead. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.

Directions:
The Grange Park Road entrance to Bailey's Wood is near the junction with Charlestown Road. It is unsigned, but volunteers will be at the bench next to the substation. Boggart Hole Clough is nearby, on the opposite side of Charlestown Road.
