As part of Heritage Open Days, Oliver Cromwell's House will be opening its doors for a special evening of free admission, giving visitors the chance to explore one of Ely's most fascinating historic buildings after hours.

Wander through the beautifully restored home of England's most famous Lord Protector, discover immersive displays, period rooms and intriguing stories from the 17th century, all at no cost. Whether you're a first-time visitor or returning to uncover more of its rich history, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Ely's premier heritage attractions in a unique evening setting. No admission fee applies.

Accessibility details

Due to the nature of the building, only the lower section of the house is accessible to wheelchair users - there are two stair cases, one being straight and modern, which can be used for those who would prefer such access to the upper floor.
