This talk invites you to slow down and take notice of the everyday heritage that surrounds us. From the clues we can find in buildings and streets to cross referencing with old postcards and maps, we'll discover how to unlock the everyday heritage and see these familiar places in a new historical light.
The examples shown in this talk are largely taken from towns and villages in the New Forest, but the features we’ll explore are part of everyday heritage nationwide.
This online talk is accessible by mobile phone, laptop or computer through Zoom. The talk will last around 45 minutes with time for questions at the end.
Joining instructions will be emailed out to all attendees the day before.
The talk will be recorded and available for 7 days after the event for anyone who is unable to attend live.
