Longworth Chapel is a pre-Reformation little gem of a chapel, now owned by a charity. Visit us to appreciate its simple beauty and sense of peace. Refreshments available.

Longworth Chapel is the Medieval chapel that moved. Built as a manor chapel in a field next to the lost manor house, it was taken apart stone by stone and relocated to the Victorian Catholic convent at Bartestree. The convent is now a private housing complex and the Chapel remains as a timeless piece of tranquility and history, never used as an Anglican chapel and so is an important pre-Reformation survivor, with Pugin interior elements.
The Chapel is run by a newly established charity and we welcome all visitors to enjoy this piece of Herefordshire's history. Open 11 to 4, with tea and coffee available.
