Open day at Ram Hill Colliery, a small heritage listed site with remains of some mine workings and buildings. Start of the Dramway is visible. Tours will be available.

Ram Hill Colliery is a small heritage listed site. The site of a horse gin is available and rare. A stone arch is visible but there is no certainty as to its purpose. Remains of walls to some of the mine buildings are also visible. Stone supports for the railway track of the dramway (which carried coal to the river Avon where it was loaded onto barges) are visible in front of the stone arch. There is also a short woodland walk with a variety of plant life. Orchids can be seen earlier in the year but will have gone over by September. You may be lucky to find a few blackberries and or damsons.
