St Peter's Church, Old Edlington, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN12 1PZ
St Peter's was the first church to be vested with the Churches Conservation Trust after the parish of Edlington St Peter became redundant in 1962.
The church, built from local magnesian limestone, contains several pieces of curious Norman carving, including a chancel arch decorated with several rows of chevrons and a line of beakheads around the south door. The north aisle contains some fine Romanesque corbels on what was once an exterior wall..
