  • 20 Sep 2025
  • In person

Oswestry Memorial Hall celebrates its 120th birthday this year. Our Heritage Open Day on Sept 20th is the beginning of our birthday celebrations, showcasing the building's history, it's current use, and future plans.

On September 20th come take a look inside the fabulous Oswestry Memorial Hall (OMH). Learn about its 120 year history as a community building, why it was built, and how it has served local people in so many ways. Check out the rooms, including:
- our fabulous Oswald Hall with its local Makers Market
- our beautiful tiled staircase and stained glass window
- local art displays and installations
- our 1st Floor Festival Suite. Peek inside to see some of the live workshop activities taking place there
- our Community Lounge, complete with piano and refreshments
Get some 'behind the scenes' access, and learn how the hall provides support to so many local community groups and services.
There's also a chance to engage in our OMH Moments project - as we aim to build a series of art installations around the hall, telling the story of its 120 year history.
