NEW FOR 2026.
Pop in and see our new display on the Manchester Ship Canal and its links to the Montgomery Canal with the fascinating story of 'the Danny' stream powered boat, originally built by the Shropshire Union and Railway Canal Company and now fully restored and operational. The display includes a mode of the Danny along with the bell for a sister ship 'The Dorrington' and other interesting artefacts.
