Over the Water - Walking Tour

Norwich Over the Water was one of the Great Wards of the city, having been a site of habitation since well before the Norman Conquest of 1066. From those very early days it was also a place of trade and industry. Today it is a quieter part of the city which is a fascinating place to explore. Its rich architectural heritage includes places of worship, former industrial buildings now mostly repurposed, houses of the poor and the rich and some examples of contemporary design.
