Join us on Saturday 19th September for Penhill History Day, a celebration of the people, places, stories and memories that have shaped our community. Run by Penhill's Pride in Place programme and local residents

On Saturday 19th September, the Penhill community will come together for Penhill History Day, a special event celebrating the people, places, stories and memories that have shaped the area over the years. The day will provide a wonderful opportunity for local residents, families, community groups and anyone with an interest in Penhill’s past to discover more about the neighbourhood and share their own experiences. Visitors will be able to explore photographs, memorabilia, historical information and personal stories, while hearing from local people who can bring Penhill’s history to life through their memories and experiences. The event will also be a chance for residents to meet others, reminisce about times gone by and perhaps recognise familiar faces, streets and landmarks from Penhill’s past. Whether you have lived in Penhill for decades, have recently moved to the area, or simply want to learn more about its history, everyone is warmly invited to take part. Penhill History Day aims to celebrate the community’s heritage, preserve important local memories for future generations and demonstrate how the area’s history continues to shape the community today.
