Discover the rich heritage of Petersfield and the wider Hampshire area at Petersfield Museum’s free Heritage Fair, bringing together museums, local history societies, archaeology groups, conservation organisations and community heritage groups in our historic courtyard.
Explore displays, discover local history projects, learn about volunteering opportunities and meet the people who preserve and share the stories of our communities. Many stalls will feature historic objects, demonstrations and interactive activities for all ages.
Joining us are Petersfield Town Crier, Petersfield Area Historical Society, Liss Archaeology, Petersfield Twinning Association, Stansted Park Foundation, Petersfield Musical Festival, National Trust – Uppark House and Garden, Petersfield Town Council, The Arts Society, Rowlands Castle Heritage Centre, The Edward Thomas Fellowship, Liss Area Historical Society, Buriton Heritage Bank, Rural Life Living Museum, Petersfield Physic Garden, Petersfield Arts & Crafts Society (PACS), The Petersfield Society and The Watercress Line.
Visitors can also enjoy hands-on object handling sessions featuring archaeological finds and objects from the museum’s handling collection, plus free entry to the Edward Thomas Centre. Whether you’re a lifelong history enthusiast or simply looking for an interesting day out, come and discover the heritage on your doorstep.

Museum admission is optional and ticketed separately: £5 adults, free for under-18s, with 2-for-1 adult admission on Wednesdays.
